CONTROL ARMS

PORSCHE UPDATED CONTROL ARMS

A very important part of your Porsche 996 suspension system is the control arms. The control arms manage the motion of the wheels in relation to your vehicle's body. A worn or bad control arm will cause too much movement and make for an uncomfortable drive, not to mention the wear and tear that worn out control arms cause to the rest of your Porsche’s suspension system and tires. At EPS our team of technicians has developed replacement upgrades for your Porsche Control Arms. The original wishbone style control arms (A & C) from Porsche were equipped with rubber bushings that deteriorate prematurely and fail. EPS has replaced this failure prone bushing with a stronger, solid polyurethane bushing with a metal protective socket. On the lower ball joint style control arms (B & D) EPS has taken the original Porsche control arm and threaded out the end to receive a heavy duty ball joint that can be easily replaced when worn. These upgrades will not only resolve your current clunking and rattling suspension noise, but will also save you time and money from replacing your control arms again. End the Squeal! Order yours today.

At EPS our team of technicians have developed a solution for the Porsche Boxster and 996 rear suspension, notorious for being noisy and clanky when worn.

  • A very important part of your Porsche suspension system is the trailing control arm. The control arms manage the motion of the wheels in relation to your vehicle's body. A worn or bad trailing control arm will cause excessive movement and make for a noisy and clanking suspension. Worn trailing control arm bushings also causes wear and tear to the rest of your Porsche’s suspension system and tires.

  • The original wishbone style trailing control arms from Porsche were equipped with a ball and socket. After time wear causes a clearance between the ball and the socket. This clearance causes a noisy clank in the suspension. EPS has replaced this failure prone ball and socket with a stronger, solid polyurethane bushing with a metal protective socket.
