Porsche Updated Rear Trailing Control Arm

$189.00

The original fork style trailing control arms from Porsche were equipped with a rubber bushing. After time wear causes a clearance between the bushing and the trailing arm. This clearance causes a noisy clank in the suspension. The EPS team replaces the failure prone rubber bushing with Polyurethane Bushings for an exceptionally long service life. A full 5 Year warranty backs our trailing control arms!

Advantages:

At EPS our team of technicians have developed a solution for the Porsche Boxster rear suspension, notorious for being noisy and clanky when worn.

A very important part of your Porsche suspension system is the trailing control arm. The control arms manage the motion of the wheels in relation to your vehicle's body. A worn or bad trailing control arm will cause excessive movement and make for a noisy and clanking suspension. Worn trailing control arm bushings also causes wear and tear to the rest of your Porsche’s suspension system and tires.

The original wishbone style trailing control arms from Porsche were equipped with a ball and socket. After time wear causes a clearance between the ball and the socket. This clearance causes a noisy clank in the suspension. EPS has replaced this failure prone ball and socket with a stronger, solid polyurethane bushing with a metal protective socket.
